Kurt Browning is a local boy, born in here in Rocky Mountain House and raised in Caroline. Married to Mexican figure He was born in Newmarket, Ontario, and was named after the famous singer Elvis Presley. His heritage includes a Hungarian mother and a Slovenian father. Stojko later lived in Ajijic, Mexico, eventually returned to Canada where he married Gladys Orozco. Stojko took up skating at the age of four and won his first trophy at eleven.
